Our Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science and Quantitative Finance, is India’s premier, conferred by Patkar- Varde College, affiliated to Mumbai University, an institution that is recognized globally with a reputation of over 160+ years.This full-time 3-year Degree is based on three prominent fields – Actuarial Science, Data Science and Quantitative Finance.Offering students an avenue of learning, this degree aims at imparting knowledge through top industry experts and simultaneously moulding a student’s interpersonal skills.

The course compliments professional courses like Actuarial Science, CFA, FRM and CAIA and at the end of the penultimate year, students must complete a mandatory internship and also select electives for specialization.

B.Sc. (Actuarial Science & Quantitative Finance) is currently the only undergraduate program in India that offers exemptions for up to 6 of the IFoA(Institute and Faculty of Actuaries) Core Principle subjects – (CM1, CM2, CS1, CS2, CB1 and CB2).

Graduates from the programme who meet the IFoA’s exemption threshold in the relevant university subjects will be eligible for exemption from the corresponding IFoA subjects and will not need to sit the IFoA exam for those subjects.

Our Master’s Degree will be offered by Patkar-Varde college, affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The course designed will be a unique blend of industry-academia tie-ups, bringing real-life experiences to the lecture theatre, enabling students to get industry rich learning experiences. This degree program will prepare actuarial aspirants for a high-flying career in traditional and non-traditional actuarial fields.
